KlassBottle Posted October 22, 2009 Posted October 22, 2009 Okay, well, this drive has been working fine for a few months, but I was recently installing a new video card, and I think I plugged a wrong cord into my PSU, which caused the mobo to die.. I'm thinking the burner, unfortunately, died as well. It was mainly used for XBOX360 games, but since I didn't want to waste anymore DLs trying to see if this drive is really not working, I attempted a DVD-R in the log I've attached. Thanks guys! LIGHTNING UK! Posted October 22, 2009 Posted October 22, 2009 Try some of the other 'supported' write speeds - i.e 8x and 12x. Have you tried a cleaning disc? All you can do is try all the different types of media you've got (cd's, rewritables too etc) and if it fails on all of them with approx the same error, consider it fried.
