duffman4evir Posted October 25, 2009 Posted October 25, 2009 Hi, I've been working on creating ISOs of my collection of PC games as sort of a backup and for ease-of-install later on. Most games image fine, but certain ones seem to have some sort of copy protection. ImgBurn reports read problems at around sector 800 of each of these disks. Are there any tools that could help me break whatever copy protection is there so that I can make my ISOs? For good measure, here is a log detailing the problem: I 12:57:24 ImgBurn Version 2.5.0.0 started! Cynthia Posted October 25, 2009 Posted October 25, 2009 Hi and welcome to the forum, duffman4evir! The reading errors might be due to copy protections as they as you say happens on the same spot or just that the disc is dirty/scratched. According to the forum rules, we can't discuss copy protections on this board.
duffman4evir Posted October 25, 2009 Author Posted October 25, 2009 Hi and welcome to the forum, duffman4evir! According to the forum rules, we can't discuss copy protections on this board. Understandable. Looks like it is copy protection. This has happened on multiple discs so far. Thanks for the confirmation
