Backup won't play in some DVD players

Hi,

I created a backup using IMGBURN which plays in some DVD players, and won't in other ones. In the ones it won't play in, my old Cyberhome 300 player, the screen shows the two Video_S and Audio_TS folders.

I'd used <Create image file from disc> followed by <Write image file to disc> to create the backup. The original DVD plays without problems in both DVD players.

Any help is greatly appreciated!!

I'm posting: 1) the original disc info displayed in ImgBurn prior to making the image file, 2) the complete log showing the creation of the image file and the burning of the disc:

I was going to try that, and noticed something when browsing for the image file. When I created the image file, it actually created 2 files: a .iso and a .mds file. So, when I burn the image to disc, am I supposed to just select the .iso file to burn? Or, do I need to do a build and burn with the .iso and .mds files?

You load the MDS file into Write mode.

If you select the ISO file instead, the program will just load the MDS anyway.

I tried what you told me (8x write speed and the MDS file burn) and it worked perfectly! The backup I made worked in both my DVD players.

Thank you very much for your help!
