ju1ceb4g Posted October 27, 2009 Posted October 27, 2009 Was just wondering if disabling STPD would make performance that much greater and I had a DVD-DL that failed verification, but reads successfully. Could I possibly run into problems with this later?
Cynthia Posted October 27, 2009 Posted October 27, 2009 Hi and welcome to the forum, ju1ceb4g! Usually issues with that driver is that you can't get max reading speed. The issue you describe sounds not related to STPD. More like issues with firmware/media quality/burner quality.

Thanks Cynthia for the welcome and the response :]
Cynthia Posted October 28, 2009 Posted October 28, 2009 Might be that the verify error was not in the main movie and that's why you have encountered it. The log should say which part it was in.
