I did try it with 4x, after double checking my Firmware on the oldDVD. That seemed to do the trick.

 

Managed to get the ISO made, and it works fine on the one system.

 

However, I get a code 5 error on the second system. (Trying out a Linux build over two systems.)

 

I'll play around with it some more, If worse comes to worse, I'll swap out the one system that is giving me the error with the original sony drive that burned the disk.
