scrokk Posted November 7, 2009 Posted November 7, 2009 Hello I want to ask you, the speed write is 6x so why it take more than an hour to burn the dvd dl? Is there any problems on the log? mmalves Posted November 7, 2009 Posted November 7, 2009 You've set the write speed to 2x and, even at that speed, the source drive couldn't deliver data fast enough. Check the fragmentation on your D: drive and avoid using it while burning. Is it an external drive like the burner? You should also Verify your burns.

No, D: si not an external drive... but I will defragment it... but about verifying my burns, I read that it is not suitable to do it when burning xbox 360's backups... is that wrong?! mmalves Posted November 7, 2009 Posted November 7, 2009 The Verify process checks data on the disc against the source image to see if they match: if they don't match or there's an error reading the disc then it was a bad burn.
scrokk Posted November 7, 2009 Author Posted November 7, 2009 ok thank you very much... I will verify every next dvd I'll burn and excus eme for my bad english... P.S. Just the last question these Verbatim I use for xbox backups are the best (as you advice on a previous post)?
Cynthia Posted November 7, 2009 Posted November 7, 2009 Where are the Verbatims made? (Look at the package)
HorseyBoy Posted November 8, 2009 Posted November 8, 2009 Sounds like a similar problem to the one I'm having, also with an LG USB burner. I'll be interested to see if de-fragginng the drive works.
scrokk Posted November 8, 2009 Author Posted November 8, 2009 Where are the Verbatims made? (Look at the package) Made in Singapore why?
Cynthia Posted November 8, 2009 Posted November 8, 2009 There are som Chinese made Verbatims that seems tricky.
