I love ImgBurn.

But I would like to be able to shell it out as follows:

  • Run Minimized on startup
  • Have ImgBurn produce terse output to a series of files indicating the state (waiting for media... copying... done.... [or error]).
  • Auto-terminate on done or error.

Then my program could start it... watch for the 3 or four status files to appear (in the same folder as imgburn)... then act accordingly.

It would be simulating an ActiveX of "Burn these 6 files to the DVD drive" (as that is how simply my needs are).

This would allow the application to run on a kiosk project I have, where I need to do a simply copy from hard drive to DVD of files located in a folder. I looked all over the net for an ActiveX and there is zero of them out there

Lightning UK - if you are interested in getting $ for this - or something similar like an ActiveX I could deploy in VB6 - I would consider it.

Thank you so much - I hope this post is appropriate for this forum as I am a newbie to it.

Alternatively if anyone knows of an ActiveX for simple DVD copying please let me know.
