Buffer problems

When i try to burn a dvd for some reason the buffer is really slow & then the write in take 15-25 min & burning a disc take 1hr....I have tried everything deleting my controllers & going into device manger to make sure my drives was set on DMO...Windows XP Pack 3 i stop the burn because i knew it was going to burn really slow.Thxs

So it's taking ages to even fill the buffer?

 

What are you using for a source drive? How is it connected? It would appear the issue is with that.

 

 

Thank that was it.....my external hardHD in a bad USB port switch it now working like a charm thxs..
