dward Posted November 9, 2009 Posted November 9, 2009 HI There- This is my first post here and I am a newbie in regards to using ImgBurn. I have been following the steps to create a DVD, but in the ImgBurn build screen, I can drag my Video TS and Audio TS folders to the source box, but nothing happens from there. According to the instructions, it should fill it in and let me continue to burn. Is there another step that I need to follow to have it recognize my files???? Thanks for taking the time to look and offer a newbie some help. I loot forward to your response. Sincerely- Doug P.S. The reason I am using ImgBurn is because Nero takes alot of memory to burn a DVD and the end result is pixalated and choppy. Can anybody tell me if ImgBurn takes a lot of memory to burn DVD???
mmalves Posted November 9, 2009 Posted November 9, 2009 Are you using Vista or Win7? If you are then right-click on ImgBurn's shortcut and choose Run as Administrator. ImgBurn uses a small amount of memory in order to burn, probably much less than Ner0 uses to display its splashscreen

LIGHTNING UK! Posted November 9, 2009 Posted November 9, 2009 What does the mouse cursor look like when you drag+drop the folders onto the white 'Source' box? Is it a black circle or do you get a pretty picture of the folders you're dragging and a '+' ?
dward Posted November 9, 2009 Author Posted November 9, 2009 (edited) What does the mouse cursor look like when you drag+drop the folders onto the white 'Source' box? Is it a black circle or do you get a pretty picture of the folders you're dragging and a '+' ? The Arrow looks like two little boxes over one another with a "+" next to it. If it helps, the files do go into that box, but the program does not do anything else from there, it does not give me any info about what I just put in the source box. Thanks- Doug Edited November 9, 2009 by dward
LIGHTNING UK! Posted November 9, 2009 Posted November 9, 2009 It's not supposed to. 'Standard' input mode is quick and dirty. If you want more visuals/feedback, use 'Advanced' input mode.
