mk124red Posted November 11, 2009 Posted November 11, 2009 I have burnt this particular video before with no problems, after upgrading to the latest version of Img Burn the disk appears to burn but at the verify stage it fails. Disk has been burnt to but Img Burn reads is as blank as does my computer. I reverted back to the earlier version and the problem is still there. Any help would be much appreciated, and any further info you need please ask. Thanks, Mark Here is the log I 18:54:53 ImgBurn Version 2.4.4.0 started! There's a firmware update for your burner (remove any disc and close the tray before updating). Also burn at 8x or 12x, or if you want the fastest reliable speed then burn at 16x.
mk124red Posted November 11, 2009 Author Posted November 11, 2009 I am now using the latest version of Img Burn and I have upgraded the drives firmware as you suggested. I have also set the burn speed to 12x as recommended. I am still having the same problem, I realise that you say this is not a problem with Img Burn but it has never let me down before. I also tried to burn a different video and the same thing happened. Any suggestions as the problem? The log again I 22:53:50 ImgBurn Version 2.5.0.0 started! mmalves Posted November 12, 2009 Posted November 12, 2009 If you look under the disc, does it appear to have been written? If you put that disc in your other burner, does it also see the disc as empty?
mk124red Posted November 12, 2009 Author Posted November 12, 2009 The disk does look written to as there is an obvious burn section. In another drive (laptop internal) it also thinks it is a blank.
mmalves Posted November 12, 2009 Posted November 12, 2009 If I were you I'd look into replacing that burner. Maybe it's still under warranty?
