mmalves Posted November 11, 2009 Posted November 11, 2009 Your burner thinks there's no disc inside. Try applying the newest firmware update (remove any disc from the drive and close the tray before updating then reboot after it's finished). What's the type, brand and rated speed of the blanks you've tried?

mmalves Posted November 11, 2009 Posted November 11, 2009 Try with Verbatim or Taiyo Yuden blanks if you can, or else you should start looking for a new burner

mmalves Posted November 12, 2009 Posted November 12, 2009 You can find Verbatim DVD blanks on pretty much any store that sells DVD blanks. As for the Taiyo Yuden blanks (equally good as the Verbatim blanks) you can find them on online stores (have a look in the ones listed here).
