Ive been using img burn for a while now but last night i started to have problems with it stopping at 50% and failing to burn succesfully. I wasted 4 d/l discs and need to sort this out so if anyone can help please.

Your burner doesn't support those blanks. Try with Verbatim DVD+R DL blanks and it should work.

 

You could try crossflashing that burner but I'm not sure if it would add support for that media :unsure:

That's why your drive burns at 4x, there is no 2x for it to follow in the MID.

Your discs are not very compatible with your drive.

 

Read the pink bit at the top of the forum and follow the instructions, pay attention to the one about media.

this is weird because ive burned dual layer @ 2.4x before and never had an issue....ive also used clone to burn at 2X.4x also. and using the same A one media. I will purchase some some verbs and see if things change
