Update your burner's firmware (remove any disc and close the tray before updating) and also try burning at 4x. If it doesn't work at first, use a lens cleaning disc on that drive. If it still doesn't work then read this -> http://forum.imgburn.com/index.php?showtopic=8000

I know the DVD R DL's that I'm using work 100% I've got over 30 working games on them.

Are there any other steps?

You were lucky they worked before because your burner doesn't support them. You'll need to get Verbatim 2.4x DVD+R DL blanks or a new burner

I actually just got this Xbox 360 from someone off of Craigslist and he told be to get this program and this method. Well in the long run a new burner would be the best option.

Know any burners that I can use with these DVDs?
