I have a LG 8162b thought USB port and it worked with XP, i dont remember what buring software i used. I have tried all kinds of software, i like imagburn its easy to use. my problem no software sees my drive. They all see my liteons ok. i have tried to add the Lg to imageburn but no success.
mmalves Posted November 18, 2009 Posted November 18, 2009 When you connect the USB burner, does it appear in Device Manager? Is there an exclamation point besides it? Also post your Filter Driver Load Order (look in ImgBurn's Tools menu).

Also post your Filter Driver Load Order (look in ImgBurn's Tools menu). it appears in Device Manager,there is no exclamation point besides it. its all good. log shows all 3. filter just a cd/dvd. windows is up todate, and widows installed the drivers.
Paladin77 Posted November 18, 2009 Posted November 18, 2009 Try connecting the LG drive via USB and disconnect other hardware connected via USB ports then reboot your computer with your drive connected.
