Burned but didn't burn

I have attempted to burn an iso file to disc without success. I am using a TDK DVD-R 4.7gb disc and my log is attached. The disc is recognized and it seems to go through the full burning process. At what I believe is the end, it says it's completed but I'm offered no options after that. I go to close the window and it asks if I want to abort the operation. I have tried waiting various amounts of time before aborting (on 3 tries). Upon checking the disc, there has been no data written. If it makes any difference, I was copying the file from a thumb drive.

Thank you for your help.

I 12:19:22 Destination Device: [1:1:0] TSSTcorp CD/DVDW SH-S162A TS02 (D:) (ATA)

I 12:19:22 Destination Media Type: DVD-R (Disc ID: CMC MAG. AM3) (Speeds: 2x, 4x, 6x, 8x, 12x, 16x)

I 12:19:22 Write Speed: 1x

Update your burner's firmware (remove any disc and close the tray before updating then reboot after it's finished) and try again with a brand new blank disc at 8x or 12x speed, or at the very least 4x.

I upgraded the firmware and burned the image at 8x. Everything looks good. Thank you very much for your help.
