I am new to this forum and would like to know if ImgBurn can take a file (as a mts file) from my Canon HF200 AVCHD camcorder and burn it to a DVD-R disc in AVCHD format that will be playable in my Panasonic blue ray player (which is capable of playing AVCHD discs). If this is possible any additional instructions would be helpful. Thanks.

Used imgburn to create two AVCHD DVD's but both were incompatible when trying to play in Blure ray player. The file structure from the camcorder that I am trying to burn is as follows:

FOLDER [bVMD]

------SUBFOLDER [bACKUP]---------0 files

------SUBFOLDER [CLIPINF]--------4 .CPI files

------SUBFOLDER [PLAYLIST]-------2 .MPL files

------SUBFLODER [sTREAM]---------4 .MTS files

------FILE [iNDEX.BDM]

------FILE [MOVIEOBJECT.BDM]

I imported the main BVMD folder into the source box. I do not see a CERTIFICATE FOLDER do I need that?

Any thoughts or suggestions as what to try next or settings to change would be appreciated. Thanks for you help.

Here is my log file:

Seriously, I have no idea.

Your best bet is to ask at the Doom9 forums where people play with this AVCHD stuff day in, day out.

You have to make little tweaks for each player. Maybe the book for your standalone would give you a clue as to how it likes such discs to be formatted?
