mmalves Posted December 6, 2009 Posted December 6, 2009 A newer burner may be able to burn those blanks, but in the end you'll still get a low quality burn. Even Aone noticed how bad that dye was and doesn't use it anymore in their blanks.

danxxscott Posted December 9, 2009 Author Posted December 9, 2009 Hello there, i've just burnt off two attempts at a xbox 360 back-up useing verbatim x8 discs, mkm 003-00. the trouble is they are both coasters, My first go was @ x2 everything burnt fine and i must say it put a smile on my face, which was soon wiped off when i put it into my xbox to test only to find it said play DVD rather than play GAME. And then exactly the same occurance when i went to the other extreme and did a burn @ x8. Should i be trying the speeds in between or is there something much more obvious that i should be doing Thanks in advance. I 18:54:02 ImgBurn Version 2.5.0.0 started! danxxscott Posted December 9, 2009 Author Posted December 9, 2009 i've also just noticed that burn proof is enabled on my current burn and was disabled on my previous attempts, Could this be worth getting excited about?
LIGHTNING UK! Posted December 10, 2009 Posted December 10, 2009 It burnt and verified just fine and that's all we care about. If you have issues beyond that then you're on your own. I've already pointed you to the 'pinned' thread. http://forum.imgburn.com/index.php?showtopic=12200 p.s. turn burnproof back on
