slickmic Posted December 11, 2009 Posted December 11, 2009 I need help burning xbox 360 games. So I have img burn, and I was using memorex dvd + r dls before, I got a 5 pack and they all ended up as coasters. The most I got to was 18% before I got an I/O error that says check condition. Anyways, today I went out and bought 20 verbatim dvd+ dls for 30 bucks. I tried to burn one using img burn but only got to 32% before the I/O error. If somebody could please help me that would be appreciated. Here is the log: I 14:30:41 ImgBurn Version 2.5.0.0 started! mmalves Posted December 11, 2009 Posted December 11, 2009 Try burning at 4x, and if that doesn't work, then use a lens cleaning disc on that burner. You can also manually cleans the burner's lens with a cotton bud and some isopropyl alcohol, but be careful not to force it.

Cynthia Posted December 12, 2009 Posted December 12, 2009 The drive supports these speeds: I 14:33:59 Destination Media Type: DVD+R DL (Disc ID: MKM-001-00) (Speeds: 2.4x, 4x) So, yes.

Okay so I was able to burn the disc to 100% at 4x, however there was a problem finalizing the disc. My tray popped open and it told me to manually shut it and then press okay, I did and nothing happened, at the bottom of imgburn it said disc not empty. What's the problem?

mmalves Posted December 12, 2009 Posted December 12, 2009 Cleaning the lens is your only option then.
slickmic Posted December 12, 2009 Author Posted December 12, 2009 Cleaning the lens is your only option then. I don't see how it's the lens when it burned all the way to 100%. The error happened at the finalizing stage. My disc tray popped out, it said it couldn't close tray which is understandable because I'm using a laptop so it asked me to manually push it back in and when I did nothing happened.
slickmic Posted December 12, 2009 Author Posted December 12, 2009 Okay so it worked. Here is what I did. I burned it at 4x, after it ejected I pushed it back in, I went to tools-drive-close-disc
