dvd drive won't read disc

I have 2 differant dvd drives on diff computers I am tring to make a copy of a wii game

the drives do not seem to reconize the disc I have put another dvd in and image burn will read it

1 dive is a sony 1 is a LG I use both drive and have not had any problms is it the game itself

Wii game discs are protected and ImgBurn can't read protected discs.
