shungames Posted December 13, 2009 Posted December 13, 2009 (edited) Hello, I have recently got some disks which I am planning to put Wii Isos on but the disks need to be DVD-R of DVD-RW. It is a samsung drive but there is this error: (Tab Samsung) Change for: Drive (For DVD+RW Media) Current Setting: UNKNOWN (FAILED!) Reason: Invalid Field in CDB. I have had the same problem with just DVD+R. Does anyone know what the problem is? Information is here: TSSTcorp DVD+-RW TS-L632H D400 (ATA) Current Profile: DVD+RW Disc Information: Status: Complete Erasable: Yes Formatted: Yes Sessions: 1 Sectors: 2,295,104 Size: 4,700,372,992 bytes Time: 510:03:29 (MM:SS:FF) Supported Write Speeds: 3x, 4x TOC Information: Session 1... mmalves Posted December 13, 2009 Posted December 13, 2009 TSSTcorp DVD+-RW TS-L632H D400 (ATA) Update your burner's firmware (remove any disc and close the tray before updating then reboot after it's finished) and try again. If it doesn't work then it could be that your burner doesn't support booktyping DVD+RW media, but it may be able to booktype DVD+R media.

I will have to try it on a differnet computer. Thank You anyway.
