bharath Posted December 14, 2009 Posted December 14, 2009 I recently upgraded my laptop to Windows 7. I have used the same media many times when my laptop was running Windows Vista. Since I have upgraded my laptop to Windows 7 I am unable to burn any DVD using ImgBurn. I keep getting different errors when I do so. I am attaching a log file, any help on this is appreciated. bharath Posted December 15, 2009 Author Posted December 15, 2009 (edited) I 08:51:53 Destination Device: [1:0:0] _NEC DVD+-RW ND-6650A 102C (F:) (ATA) Update your burner's firmware (remove any disc and close the tray before updating then reboot after it's finished) and try again. By the way you can burn directly to disc, no need to create an ISO image first: use the "Write files/folders to disc" option or set the Output to Device I create the image because I lost quite a few discs when trying to burn the folder directly. So thought may be that was causing some issue. Cleaning the drive did help, but killed my cleaning disc when I cleaned the Matshita drive as it is a slot loading drive.
