I have just upgraded to Win 7 and now I cannot seem to write DVD media. I am concerned with the incompatible Format message. What does that mean?

Your burner doesn't support the blanks you're using, and since there's no firmware update for it, you'll have to try with other blanks, preferably Verbatim or Taiyo Yuden.
