Burning I/O error occurs in my Office 2010 ProPlus x86 & x64 files

(A simple question which I don't think my log has to be posted.)

Situation:

I have been burning my file with ImgBurn several times (about 7~8 times), but it remains failed.

What's in my file(folder)

Two Microsoft products:

First one: Office 2010 ProPlus (beta) x86 .exe

Second one: Office 2010 ProPlus (beta) x64 .exe

What's actually happening

Every time, I burn these TWO files TOGETHER in a folder by using the method of "Write folder to disc".

Writing to disc is fine, but a problem happens in vertifying process.

A message about "I/O error, uncorrectable error" is shown. In my log, it indicates that my second file mentioned above (Office ... x64) has I/O error.

Same error message appears when convert the whole folder into ISO file and burn it as ISO image.

Something really special / goes wrong

When I only burn ONE of the two exe files (for example: Office ... x86), nothing goes wrong.

The operating system I'm using is 32-bit Windows XP, with Office 2010 PP (beta) installed. I know these don't matter, maybe problems come from the files. However, I have tried to download them several times again and again. I don't know what has gotten wrong, because I have been using ImgBurn for a few months and have burnt files/ISO more than 15 times. Of course, in these 15 times, problems didn't happen frequently (but just rarely).

I solve the problems by burning the file/ISO again until I succeed every time.

In my opinion, perhaps ImgBurn IT pro.s can try to download these two files for Microsoft official website and try to burn them into DVD.

(P.S. "Office ... x86" is 32-bit format while "Office ... x64" is 64-bit format. (I renamed the two files so their file names stand for their format.)

(PS: Later I use Alcohol to burn these two files and succeed, maybe sth wrong in ImgBurn program.)

You're probably using junk media, burning too fast or your burner is dirty/has old firmware. Of course we wouldn't have to guess if you actually posted the log.

And since this is in the pink bit at the top:

Make sure you include a copy of the program's log in your post.

And since mmalves wrote:

And since my crystal ball is on loan to the local gypsies this month for their annual Winter festival...

Why don't you post a log and help us to help you?

Throw that DVD+RW disc in the garbage and get a new one, preferably from Verbatim.

Alternatively you could use write once that since they're more reliable.
