Looked up some stuff, found DVD Shrink. Unfortunately it wouldn't burn it automatically and opened ImgBurn. I had no idea what I was doing and tried using this guide and this guide (I don't know if my blank CDs are single or double layers or what single or double layers are, honestly, hence the use of them both). I followed the instructions but it doesn't seem to detect the blank CD in the driver. I'm using Verbatim CDs, by the way. Here's a screenshot of ImgBurn, if it helps: If you need to ask me any questions for clarity that haven't been answered in this post, feel free. Thank you.
Cynthia Posted December 27, 2009 Posted December 27, 2009 I think you should have asked Santa for a DVD burner. The one you have right now is only a CD burner.
Punch Clock Hero Posted December 27, 2009 Author Posted December 27, 2009 So... I can't burn it? well, this sucks
Cynthia Posted December 27, 2009 Posted December 27, 2009 You can convert the DVD source to VCD and burn it to a CD disc. But the quality will not be very nice.
Punch Clock Hero Posted December 27, 2009 Author Posted December 27, 2009 Well, that won't do. So I actually need an external DVD driver for this computer or a different type of CD?
Cynthia Posted December 27, 2009 Posted December 27, 2009 You need some sort of a DVD burner. You should know if you have CD's or DVD's in front of you already.
