First off, thanks for reading and hopefully helping me out. I am a new user of ImgBurn but like the gui right off the bat. I've read about using Verbatim DL discs, but have been having trouble burning using any programs lately. Currently I have memorex DVD+R DL 8x, but have been wasting them trying to burn a disc backup. I promise you it is a backup as the navigation discs are linked directly to my VIN number when ordered from GM. Here's the log when trying to burn a disc:

Thanks for any help you guys can give me. I'm not sure if it's a disc drive problem, power supply problem, overheating etc. however I am unable to burn discs on my laptop either so perhaps these discs are crap. Please help!

Yeah, those discs are crap indeed. You could try burning them at 6x or 4x to see if they burn, or even try cleaning the drive with a lens cleaning disc, but it would be better if you used Verbatim DVD+R DL blanks.
