Plumpkatt1 Posted January 1, 2010 Posted January 1, 2010 (edited) First off, thank you for taking the time to read this post. I am ready to pull my hair out. Been trying to burn some back up images using IMG Burn and Fujifilm DVD+RDL media. I am thinking the problem is the media but am not sure. I am new to burning DL media. I want to try Verbatum but there arent any around here locally and I am broke till next week to order any. Anyhow, this burner is a couple years old but has never been used till last night. It is a TSS-H552U running the us09 firmware.I updated it last night. This is also a fresh install of winXP SP2. When I burn my image it starts off alright but fails as it starts burning layer 1. It seems to burn well through layer 0. Anyhow I get an error saying: I did try choosing a different burning engine from the default but no matter what I try I get the same results. I have also tried 2.4x 1x and 2x speeds. Thought about trying 4x speed but I only have 3 DVD+RDL disks left. Plumpkatt1 Posted January 2, 2010 Author Posted January 2, 2010 your drive only supports one speed, and it doesn't like those discs. leave imgburn on spti when you get your verbatims Got Rockband Beatles to burn and the xbox 360 acrually read it but I dont have a hard drive installed yet for this xbox and it told me I had to update my xbox to play this game so I said OK and it then said I didnt have enough space to update. I said continue and the xbox now has a new dash board. But the game beatles game starts to load showing various splash screens and after the EA logo the screen goes black and nothing. I suppose it could be a bad burn or that I dont have a Hard drive installed. Not sure which is the issue. I guess the image could also be bad.....ANy thoughts or ideas on this??? Anyhow, I tried to burn another image today using that same FujiFilm media and at the end during the finalization it failed and here is that log. Still think the media is the issue? Cynthia Posted January 2, 2010 Posted January 2, 2010 The media is a hit and miss especially with older drives, so I would say it's the media that is causing your issues.
