Ivor83 Posted January 5, 2010 Share Posted January 5, 2010 I was trying to burn couple of DL DVD+R (Verbatim) discs on speed 2.4, but unsuccessfully due to the error shown below. I never had this problem before, but suddenly I can't seem to even begin burning and it automatically comes with this error. The firmware is the last one for the burner (1.09). I hope the problem is not in discs (bought 20 of them, and so far ruined 3). Any help would be appreciated. Btw, I have tried now and the burner has no problems with CDs. I will try now DVDs, but I guess there will be no problem with them as well. Any ideas how to avoid this error? I have one DL DVD-R disc at home, although I need to be able to burn DVD+R, but I can try to burn this one, if it will be necessary. I 16:51:28 ImgBurn Version 2.4.2.0 started! mmalves Posted January 5, 2010 Share Posted January 5, 2010 Update ImgBurn. Try burning at 4x or 6x. Try cleaning the drive with a lens cleaning disc. And while you're at it, install service pack 3 too. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
