user Posted October 6, 2005 Posted October 6, 2005 Just installed IMGBURN on NT4 SP6 and after I tried to start the program blue screen. Using NERO, clone CD, CDex .... and others withou problems. Uninstalleld it.
polopony Posted October 7, 2005 Posted October 7, 2005 look for a driver conflict with another program ,if I remember right there was problems with dvd43 and maybe anydvd with the program before this also by LUK, and IMGburn is basically the iso write portion of the previous proggy.When you're the only one so far to have this problem then its probably specific to your comp.I dabbled with other programs and had downloaded them but then found that shrink and dvdd did all that I needed but now I'll use IMGburn for all my writing
LIGHTNING UK! Posted October 9, 2005 Posted October 9, 2005 NT4 SP6a, no problems here I'm afraid. If you can find a memory minidump or something, I could probably tell you which driver is causing the bluescreen. Apps themselves don't generally kill things in that way.
