bavo.bostoen Posted January 12, 2010 Posted January 12, 2010 Hallo, Would it be possible to add the function to directly write to an image file instead of a physical burner in the Write Mode of the Imgburn program? (it already exists in Build Mode) This would be useful when one has flac (or other lossless compression scheme) files of entire albums with a corresponding CUE file: burning these to an image and than loading that image with Deamon Tools would allow iTunes to convert the CD directly to mp3/aac with all relevant metadata. (I use an iPod) Imgburn can do this now but you first need to burn (write mode) to a CD an then read (mode) the CD to create an image, so ideally I'd like to do this without wasting a CD disk which I don't really need. I'm sorry if this has been answered before or if it's a dumb question, I'm an occasional optical disk user. Hints for useful workflows (to handle encodings of entire albums) are more than welcome. Regards, Bavo
LIGHTNING UK! Posted January 12, 2010 Posted January 12, 2010 Whilst perhaps not ideal, you could give Phantom Drive a go - http://www.phantom-drive.com
