T M Posted January 16, 2010 Posted January 16, 2010 I feel like an idiot to have to ask this, because it seems so simple that it must be an option available, but I just can't find out what to do. I have an .ISO file, that I would normally burn to disk using ImgBurn. However in this case the file size is too big and some dvd shrinking needs to be carried out. My problem is that I am stuck with this video in an .ISO format that I can neither burn to disk (too big) and which DVDShrink will not open (because it is not yet on disc). So my question is how do I burn the .ISO image to HDD and not a DVD disc. This would also be a useful feature to check a file vísually before burning to disc. Thnaks for any help I get on this.
mmalves Posted January 16, 2010 Posted January 16, 2010 You can mount it to a virtual drive, extract its contents with 7-Zip/WinRAR/etc so that you can use the files elsewhere or you can play it with VLC Media Player or similar players. By the way, DVD Shrink can open ISO images.
T M Posted January 16, 2010 Author Posted January 16, 2010 Thanks for your time. Your help is much appreciated. TM
