Everytime when I try to make a backup of my 360 Games it crashes at 50 % during the verifying process. I use a Pavillion Dv 6000 with winxp. Try cleaning the drive with a cleaning disc or manually if you know how to do it. You could also try finding the 2.4x MKM-001-00 dye Verbatim blanks. Turning off the Verify doesn't change the fact that your burner made a bad burn, so that's not a solution.
