mmalves Posted January 19, 2010 Posted January 19, 2010 I 21:40:26 Destination Device: [0:0:0] SONY DVD RW AW-G170A 1.71 (G:) (ATA) Update your burner's firmware (remove any disc and close the tray before updating then reboot after it's finished) and try again. If it still doesn't work then read this -> http://forum.imgburn.com/index.php?showtopic=8000
Gokul Posted January 19, 2010 Author Posted January 19, 2010 I download the firmware and installed it.. It said to turn off the computer and I did it.. After opening the computer, the Windows 7 searches for a driver for the DVD writer and installs the old one(1.71). What can I do to stop this and install the latest firmware(1.75) for the writer?
mmalves Posted January 19, 2010 Posted January 19, 2010 When you open ImgBurn and switch to Write mode, what does it say on the top right corner?
Gokul Posted January 19, 2010 Author Posted January 19, 2010 thanks boss!! it worked... the firmware has updated to 1.75.. sorry for troubling you...
