do we need dvd shrink too?

Hello,

I am new to ImgBurn, and would like to know if it does the whole job when backing up DVDs and CDs, or does one need to use it in conjuction with DVD SHRINK? Many times DVDs are too big to copy onto normal blank DVD discs.

Thanks for your help, and I await your reply.

ImgBurn is just a burning program, it doesn't convert/transcode/shirnk anything.

What goes in (source) is what comes out (destination).

So if the source is larger than the destination, it'll simply fail.

There's now tons of apps that allow you to backup DVD's that are too big....

To name a few --> DVDShrink // CloneDVD2 // Magic DVD Ripper // DVD-Cloner // DVD neXt COPY

note that you'll still need a 3rd party decrypter to remove copy protections...

:rolleyes:

Buy Dual Layer DVD's. You preserve original quality and save the time needed to shrink.
