Look for the latest SATA drivers for your SATA controller and/or motherboard's chipset (tip: use SIW to identify them).

Thanks for the reply mate, I just did that and I still got the same error.

I'm using windows vista 32 bit atm.

 

and i downloaded from the chipset section, "ChipsetIntel8111010_W&V.zip". Is that right? I couldn't find any specific SATA drivers...

Install this (reboot if asked) then install this (also reboot if asked).

Cheers for your help mate, the first one installs fine, but the second one says "this computer does not meet the minimum requirements for installing the software".

 

Should I be able to burn a disc even without the second one installed?

You'll have to burn again to find out

 

By the way, install service pack 2 for Vista.
