Failed write on my first use of burner prog.

I downloaded the latest version and started burning an iso file of size 2.5 GB.

My OS is Win2kSp4 with BigLBA enabled

 

The empty DVD was the last one I had available at the moment and I don't think there is any use in trying again before I know what the problem is.

Update your burner's firmware (remove any disc and close the tray before updating then reboot after it's finished) and try burning again at 8x or 12x. Also use high quality media such as Verbatim and Taiyo Yuden blanks.
