samijubal Posted January 28, 2010 Posted January 28, 2010 (edited) When I use write files/folders to disc and there's over 9 files, 10 and up go in the #2, 3 etc. spot. Even if I move the files to the right order they still burn out of order. It doesn't always do this, sometimes it does and sometimes it doesn't. I haven't been able to tell when/why this happens. Is there some way to burn them in the correct order? Edited January 28, 2010 by samijubal
mmalves Posted January 28, 2010 Posted January 28, 2010 Filenames are stored in alphabetical order in the disc's filesystem, so if there's a sorting problem then it is caused by whatever you're using to read the files. An easy way to solve that problem is renaming the files in the order you want them to be, e.g.: 001-firstfile.ext 002-secondfile.ext 0xx-etc You can even use the Advanced Input mode so that you don't need to rename the source files on your HDD before burning
