W 13:25:36 Retry Failed - Reason: Incompatible Medium Installed

Hi users,

 

I like the new imgburn software. It installed easy and is easy to use. Only one problem...a couple of error messages:

 

"W 13:25:36 Retrying (2 of 3)...

W 13:25:36 Retry Failed - Reason: Incompatible Medium Installed

W 13:25:36 Retrying (3 of 3)...

W 13:25:36 Retry Failed - Reason: Incompatible Medium Installed

E 13:25:39 Synchronise Cache Failed! - Reason: Incompatible Medium Installed

E 13:25:45 Failed to Write Image!".

 

What is amazing is the burn still worked! I can play it on a CD player. I'd like to get a CD that has no error messages at all.

 

I'm using a Pioneer DVD-RW recordable drive: DVR-110D 1.08

 

Any info will be greatly appreciated.

Well the first thing to do is update the firmware on the drive.

If you still get errors after that, post the FULL log from the burn attempt.
