Can't change book type!

I want to change the book type from DVD+R DL to DVD-ROM but my burner isn't on the "list". When I go to "change book type" a box pops up that says "Please select the appropriate tab for your drive type", but my drive is an HP, and HP doesn't have it's own "tab". I see Ben Q, LG, Lite-On, etc., but no HP. So does this mean that I absolutely HAVE to have one those brands in order to change my book type? Or is there a way that I can still change my book type even though my burner isn't made by any of the companies on the different tabs that I see? Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks.

What's the exact (and full) model of your burner as shown in the disc info box on the right when you're in Write mode or whatever?
