Burning speed

Hi!

I'm having this problem, when i want to burn at lower speed (1x, 2x or 4x) ImgBurn ''says'':

Burning speed miscompare or something like that... wanted: 2x (or 4x...) got: 12x (!)

It won't burn under 12x....

Is it something about ImgBurn or my computer (laptop)?

Thank you for your response...

Those are the available write speeds with your burner/firmware/media combination. Since the verify was OK the disc should work. You could try with Taiyo Yuden CD-Rs too.

  • 2 weeks later...

Put a blank DVD in the burner and look at the media information text shown in ImgBurn's window: the Supported Write Speeds field shows you the available options for your burner/firmware/media combination.
