I'm having this problem, when i want to burn at lower speed (1x, 2x or 4x) ImgBurn ''says'': Burning speed miscompare or something like that... wanted: 2x (or 4x...) got: 12x (!) (Speeds: 10x; 16x; 24x) Those are the available write speeds with your burner/firmware/media combination. Since the verify was OK the disc should work. You could try with Taiyo Yuden CD-Rs too.
