perka Posted February 1, 2010 Posted February 1, 2010 Hi! I'm having this problem, when i want to burn at lower speed (1x, 2x or 4x) ImgBurn ''says'': Burning speed miscompare or something like that... wanted: 2x (or 4x...) got: 12x (!) It won't burn under 12x.... Is it something about ImgBurn or my computer (laptop)? Thank you for your response...

mmalves Posted February 1, 2010 Posted February 1, 2010 I 21:33:02 Destination Media Type: CD-R (Disc ID: 97m26s66f, CMC Magnetics Corp.) (Speeds: 10x; 16x; 24x) Those are the available write speeds with your burner/firmware/media combination. Since the verify was OK the disc should work. You could try with Taiyo Yuden CD-Rs too.
perka Posted February 11, 2010 Author Posted February 11, 2010 and at what speed(s) i can burn DVDs? thank you!
mmalves Posted February 11, 2010 Posted February 11, 2010 Put a blank DVD in the burner and look at the media information text shown in ImgBurn's window: the Supported Write Speeds field shows you the available options for your burner/firmware/media combination.
