Last week i managed to flash a friends Hitachi drive with no issues, The backups burned fine and played first time inserted all good..... My problem now lies with burining games after flashing a Benq VA6038, My problem is now burnging game backups, As you can see every time i try to burn disks i am getting this same error. None of my other software is letting me burn disks now either but the drive dose stil play and read disks.?? Please feel free to check thru to make sure i have done things correct.... Disks I am using are Verbatim DVD+R DL 8x 8.5GB 240Min Burning the disks at x2 or x2.4 speed's.. Burner is a LG DVD+RW+DL Drive which worked fine previously burning games with no issue.... Cynthia Posted February 16, 2010 Posted February 16, 2010 The first error in that log is E 00:38:58 Set L0 Data Zone Capacity Failed! - Reason: Program Memory Area Update Failure I've seen that happen with speeds the drive doesn't like. Now you have tried max = 8x. The other speeds to try with: (Speeds: 2.4x, 4x, 6x, 8x) The second burn (second posted error message) in that log is failing because you are using a used disc.
