obvious Posted February 10, 2010 Posted February 10, 2010 As i noted, Imgburn writes files in alphabetical order thus ignoring the way i arranged them, which is kinda annoying. Inb4 yes, it affects their phisical layout (lba) on disc. Are there any plans to implement such feature (user order)? Thanx.
LIGHTNING UK! Posted February 10, 2010 Posted February 10, 2010 The names in the file system will always be in alphabetical order and I very much doubt I'm ever going to change that. The physical order of the file data can already be manipulated (assuming the option is turned on to use it).
obvious Posted February 11, 2010 Author Posted February 11, 2010 The physical order of the file data can already be manipulated (assuming the option is turned on to use it). Is that an option? If it is, what else should be done to achieve certain file layout?
LIGHTNING UK! Posted February 11, 2010 Posted February 11, 2010 Yes, that's the option to enabled. In Standard mode you move the items up/down in the list and that determines their order on the disc (LBA wise). In Advanced mode it'll sort files/folders on the same directory level in the order you added them to that level. I have no intention of changing how it works so if it's no good for your purposes, use another program.
