Update DVDFab to the latest version to see if the problem goes away.

I was running 6218, and updated to 6220, but still have the same problem.

In ImgBurn go to Tools -> Settings -> I/O tab, change SPTI - Device Enumeration Method to Device Interface and click OK. Now try burning again and see which program is holding the burner.

If it's DVDFab indeed then you may need to disable Lock Volume - Exclusive Access in the Write tab of ImgBurn's settings.

I've been away for a few days, but wanted to thank you for your help, It's not an IMGBurn problem as I can burn the folder created by DVDFab after closing DVDFab, but haven't been able to burn directly from Fab. If I uncheck Lock Volume I just get errors writing, so instead of making more coasters, I decided to post on the Fab board. Thanks again for your quick replies!
