jkungle Posted February 11, 2010 Posted February 11, 2010 Several weeks ago I burned a DVD using IMGBURN (ISO file). Now, today I tried going into Windows Explorer and tried to drag and drop files from my hard drive to either my DVD(E) or CD(D) Drive. But it asks me to insert a disc. I have a strong feeling IMGBURN has some kind of exclusive hold on the drives. I can read off either drive but cannnot write using native Windows. Just now I did try to burn a DVD with imgburn and it worked perfectly. ANY HELP would be greatly appreciated!!!! Jeff
mmalves Posted February 11, 2010 Posted February 11, 2010 Does that happen when ImgBurn is closed? If it does then it's nothing to do with ImgBurn.

jkungle Posted February 11, 2010 Author Posted February 11, 2010 Yes, It happens even when IMGBURN is closed. If it's not that then do you have any suggestion as to what else it might be.
mmalves Posted February 11, 2010 Posted February 11, 2010 We don't use windows built-in burning engine so we're hardly the best people to ask that.
LIGHTNING UK! Posted February 11, 2010 Posted February 11, 2010 Can ImgBurn see the disc in the drive? What OS are you using?
jkungle Posted February 11, 2010 Author Posted February 11, 2010 Can ImgBurn see the disc in the drive? What OS are you using? Yes, IMGBURN can see the disk in the drive. It can even Burn a disk. I can read (windows explorer) a disk in the drive, but can write. If I right click on the drive D: and show properties, it shows FileSystem "Unknown"
