CD Properties - Capacity

I am a NEW Imgburn User. I have looked in FAQ and could not locate similar Topic.

I am using Ver 2.5.0.0

Question #1: The CD I burned contains 4 or 5 files of 4.42 MB. When I look at Properties for the CD it shows Used space: 4.42 MB And Capacity: 4.42 MB. And of course the Pie Chart Shows the CD as completely full. I am using Windows XP Home Edition - SP3.

Does Imgburn reserve the Complete CD, regardless of the size of the files being burned or am I using incorrect options when creating the CD ?

Question #2: It seems the Windows XP CD writing/erasing functions do not work on a CD created with Imgburn. For example, Copy file to CD or Erase CD do not complete, and if I leave the CD in the Drive, when I next boot, I get the message files are waiting to be written to the CD, but there no files to be written. I read in FAQ that you cannot append files to a CD, so is this the reason ?

ImgBurn doesn't leave discs open (because it doesn't support multisession), they're always finalised (whereby you can't add more data).
