Recognizing burners

Recommended Posts

I've been using IMGBurn successfully for some time, up to the end of last week. Now, in the panel which lists my two burners, I see only "0-0-0" instead of the drive letters. I'm sure there's a simple answer to this but after an hour of fiddling I can't find it. Anyone know where the burner s disappear to?

The main panel meanwhile shows the source drive only as (0-0-0).I have checked both drives with another DVD (to play it not copy) and they're operating normally.

I see no problem in that log, it lists the full address/name/drive letter/connection type of your drives just fine.

I 16:28:27 [0:0:0] _NEC DVD_RW ND-3550A 1.05 (D:) (ATA)

I 16:28:46 [0:0:0] HL-DT-ST DVDRAM GSA-E40L SE02 (F:) (USB)

The 0:0:0 is not important, and in any case, 0:0:0 is a perfectly legit address for a drive. All USB drives will show up as 0:0:0 because they don't technically have a SCSI address at all (or not where the OS is concerned anyway).
