JaeDolo Posted February 19, 2010 Posted February 19, 2010 (edited) i'm looking at the Lite-On DH-24AAS or the Samsung SH-S223A/BEBE would anybody recommend these?? if not where should i start i have two hp dvd writers the 1040r and the 740b i have way more dvd+r dl coasters then i want to account for also attempted with a somewhat older lg drive with no success. In a nutshell just looking for something that is proven to work, and side note i was using verbatim 8x dvd+r dl discs so i dont believe the media was the issue and am getting a new drive regardless Edited February 19, 2010 by JaeDolo

mmalves Posted February 20, 2010 Posted February 20, 2010 I'd go for an Optiarc AD-7240S (7241S and 7243S are just as good) or a Pioneer DVR-217 or DVR-216 (DVR-218 is bad) if you can find them.
