csummit
Hi, I was wondering if someone could help me to narrow down what my problem is or at least point me in a direction. I have been burning cd and dvd with this system with no problems. I heard that image burn was a great program so I installed it and gave it a try. I like the program but I now get "Failed to Write Sectors 9376 - 9407 - Reason: A device attached to the system is not functioning" many times when I burn with it. The write retry works fine and the burns seem to function. Do I have a problem or is this some bogus error message? What could cause this? I get the error message no matter what drive I use in this computer. I have anydvd off. Below is the log before I stopped it about 2 minutes into the burn. Any help would be great. mmalves
Plug the burner as Master and only device at the end of a good 80-wire IDE cable. Also look for updated storage drivers for your controller (hint: use SIW to identify them).
