DVD compatibility in other DVD players

Hi there,

 

Downloaded ImageBurn. The burn was successful, and I'm able to replay it in Windows Media Player on my computer. It won't, however, play in either one of my Sony DVD players. I used a DVD-R disc.

What did you actually burn and is it supposed to play in a DVD player?!

 

ImgBurn doesn't convert anything so unless you provide it with a proper DVD Video structure (VIDEO_TS folder etc) for burning, you won't end up with one on the disc.

use DVDFlick or ConvertXtoDVD for creating and Burning DVD Video discs....

I uploared a movie from Veoh (free movies) then burned it to my gearhead DVD burner using imageburn. It plays in my portable DVD player (Phillips), but not in either of my Sony DVD players
