Disc not empty problem with blank DVD-R

Hello, I'm being using the program for long with no problems, and I bought some new DVD-R Sony 10DMR47AS4 and they seem not to work on ImgBurn... It takes the program very long in Device not Ready (Logical Unit is in Process of becoming ready) and after it says Disc not empty.

 

I bought the DVDs yesterday and they are blank, I've tried with several an still the same....

Your drive is misreporting the disc information - notice it says 'Status: Complete'.

 

A firmware update might fix the issue - but I doubt you'll fine one.

 

Take the discs back and get some different ones (Verbatim or Taiyo Yuden).

How can I update my firmware?

Is it a laptop drive? If so, you have to visit the manufacturers website or contact them.
